First off, Thanks to Harry for the Invite to the site.biggrin I visit a few sites and recognize alot of members here. What I absolutely love about this site, is the fact that most of the members are local. There is info on this site that I have never seen on other sites. I have a feeling that this site is gonna grow in a hurry. I look forward to meeting alot of folks this coming summer.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Ps. Please don't hold me accountable for 69SS454 or Slab.biggrinnobiggrinevileyebiggrinnana.gif

Not sure Carl. I haven't always lived out this way. No drive in restaurants near by. Was it on Hwy 2 just going into Woodstock?

I picked up the Vega just before winter. Brought it home from a little place in Indiana near the Illinois border close to Chicago. Haven't done squat to it yet except clean her up and store her on the hoist for winter. It has a 62-65ish 327 SBC / 350 turbo that needs some luvin'. This thing is actually in great shape considering the fate of most Vega's. Except for the engine and trans, it is bone stock. The wife has claimed it for herself.blahblah.gifbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Welcome you have a good woman to lay claim to the Vega, its nice when the wife is into the car deal.
Does the Acadian make it out to many shows or Drags, dont know if i have seen it. My buddy had a Vega(75) with a 350 and it was fun as teenagers suprised a few guys with it.

Well, the wife was born and raised in Indianapolis, so cars are definitely in her blood. The Acadian is in the build stage. Definitely nowhere near stock. Did I tell ya I'm slow as well as Old. I'll post up some pics in the project section.biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
