Good on you Ghostpost, you just made my day! Too bad there aren't more people that would do the same instead of having the dog put down! My hat's off to you!

It was really nothing Model A Guy, he rescued me more or less. Some people have no clue what its like to raise an animal properly. They take an immense amount of time, effort and love. Some people are just to self absorbed to own a pet and shouldn't. I hate puppy mills and curb side breeders. I think they should be banned until every single animal is adopted. Off topic but just my opinion.
Id like to find the previous abuser of my dog. There teeth need to be adjusted...box of chicklets comes to mind.  My vet said the dog was long abused, neglected the neccesities of life before he was homeless.
I hoped when we took him we could give his remaining life a decent one. HUNDREDS of vet visits. Countless sleepless nights. But night and day different dog health wise. His hair was a foor long in dreads, Yellow from staines and red from bloody rotting teeth(7 removed) and numerous health issues now treated. Yes he put me in the poor house and yes I could have bought a nice car. So what. Means squat that I coulda woulda shoulda had this...just materialistic iron anyway. Prefer my dog 10 fold. Unlike others, he don't care im sick. Loves me unconditionally.IMG_0151.JPGBusterBoy.JPG

Way to Ghost,
I probably coulda had my car on the road a few years ago buy money well spent on my Golden (RIP passed at age 11). she had a cancerous growth that we had lopped off until the vet said can't do it any more.
And our cat had to have water intravenous feed twice a day for kidney failure, went on to live till she was 21. She sure did put up a fight right till the end.
