My names Ian and i just turned 17 so im a little new into the car world. I live in Windsor Ont. and ive always been into hot rods and rat rods. My neighbour just finished a killer 34 pickup thats got me fired up to build my own. ive got a summer job lined up so come fall ill hopefully be in the market for something cool! gonna be low budget but thats the way i like it.
Sounds like you're on the right track... I also bought my first "project" when I was 17 it was a '64 F100 pickup and cost me $600... even though I didn't finish that particular truck, I learned a lot and it kept me inspired, and led to me getting the truck I have now (the '65 F250 in my pic). Keep the dream alive and you WILL be cruising in your own ride before you know it! Good to have you here....
Welcome Ian. Good luck with the job and save your dough. Got my first ride when i was 16. Your at the right age to start this madness. Always spent my dough on cars. At least I had something to show for all the work I did in the summer. Better than wasting it away. All the best. Mike

Welcome Ian, My first ride/ Project was a 67 Mercury P.U. back in 1978. Wished I still had it too. Good luck raising the funds for your project. It will be very rewarding when you get there.
