Hey all .. just came over from hotrodder tech on a reccomendation from ponch62. I have always had a love for cars, just not the time and place to build them and enjoy them. i was right into sports, but now working on my car always comes first.. lol Anyway, I am currently working on a 1981 Z28 that I aquired last year about this time. Installed 383 stroker in it and now doing the interior and transmission. So far so good.
Welcome Mikey!!! Great to see another northerner,, there are a lot of nice and "Quick" cars throughout the north. (You wouldn't have had a stock car about 10-12 years ago?)
Welcome to the site, I've through Matheson many a time, know exactly where you are. Stopped for breakfast a couple of times at the restaurant as you come into town around the curve. Most times I'm going through in the middle of the night on the way to Hearst so I don't get to see much activity or sights along the way..to dark. Never know, if I make the trip in the daylight, might run across you sometime.
Thanks Guys .. Ya poncho62 waaay up here ..lol .. freezing rain today .. but that's ok .. nice and warm in the garage ... Sasquatch .. no ididn't have a stock car.. I used to drive a 1978 chev short box ..white and yellow, it went pretty good, and yes a few of my friends right next door have a couple of pretty quick cars. i also have family in North bay ... sister in law and Mother in law and my brother used to live there .. nice town. Thanks Sniper .. I know that restaurant well .. good food! Let me know when your passing thru.
Welcome from the warm south, nice balmy day today, 54 degrees.............i can live with the rain, as long as I don't have to shovel snow! Supposed to be mild all week sown here.

Davyj and novaclone .. it's pretty mild here too ... not as nice as yous down there but not bad .. we only have about an inch of snow .. and its above zero today and apparently for the next few days. Hey Shag .. been out on my sled a few times already .. although we just had a week of plus temps so we lost alot of snow .. probably go hard water fishin' this weekend .. should be fun ... even if it does take time away from the things needed to be done on my car ... oh well only so many hours in a day ... lol
Hey Shag, I'm a bit late on the welcome also. I was born in Timmins, but I have lots of relatives in Val Gagne. I moved south to the Ottawa valley many years ago. I'm not much of a snow lover.
