Hello all. Just found site and joined. Cool site. Looks like lots of great people and advice. I drive a 76 Chev pick up I have had for 25 years. My toy is a 66 Chevy Longbox. Someone put a 74 Buick 455 with and auto in it but I am eventually going to put a sbc(hopefully a 283) with a 4 speed back in it. Will be driving it with 455 in it for a bit tho. Will post pics soon.

welcome. back in the day we always put olds and buick 455's plus the automatics into 67-72 gm trucks. woolco had cheap shifters, with 411 rearends made lots of fun.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. The 455 will be in the truck for awhile. Need to get a clutch pedal and 283 and a four speed. Hope to enjoy the truck for the summer and possibly swap engines over next winter. DualQuad---I think I have seen your brothers car around.   Iwannagofast---thanks for the invite...may take you up on it  :)
