I picked up this 1937 oldsmobile with suicide doors  late sept of 2012. flathead 6.

My hubby is pretty tolerent and as I sold a project weeks before, I mentiond it would be a good anniversary gift.

All original faded/no paint and all........but didnt stay that way for long. Just waiting for march to start tearin it apart ....again.

I do all the work on it ( as with all my other stuff)myself so it takes some time.

But I am happy happy happy when I'm in my shop with my coveralls on.

 You probably have. I used it in the summer to deliver screen doors throughout Muskoka  and also pickup lumber in Powasson when I had a door business...now its just used for fun not that it wasn't fun in the past.

Sure is different with store/resturant gone now.And no more hotel???

They braught my 37 home for me on the back of there truck lol

Pete is a great guy if it the same guy you mean.Ive known him and his wife Sharon for years.

 Lots of helpfull knowledge and encouragement from Pete. Although Sharon thinks were crazy.

Sadly.....we are only a group of about 3 in the "River".

Wow, I know which one you mean. I think that was "Butson's" old house back in the day.

I live right at the top of the mill road. (the dam road) when you go to the dam.

The fenders are now off and hangin on the shop wall anyway.

I think you'll be driving around the "River" now on your way to the park???

The 4 laning is all done now.
