Thanks slab. Sharpe looking Nova! Had a friend in highschool that had a 66 or 67 like yours. Was painted yellow and mostly original. Saw him 15? years ago and he had prostreeted it. Jeff Rowe was his name and he lived on the east side of London last I heard. For some reason, something about it being a Casio? or something like that?

Hello everybody! Another newbie here. Have been checking out the site for a bit. Don't have any rides on the road right now, but looking forward to what others have and hope to help others with knowledge/advice/opinion/resources/???

Grew up in Dorchester till '85. Went mental for a couple of years, smartened up and got divorced and lived here/there/wherever until a couple years ago. Bought a place here in Trenton. (Kids live 15 minutes away)  Never had much time to build anything nor a place to store anything. Was never really home for any amount of time. Grew up wrenching and helping others work on their projects/rides. Rebuilt my first tranny when I was 12. Helped father inframe a International B-264 in a '67 Travelall when I was 13 while living in the bush. Started doing bodywork around that same time. Painted my first car when I was 15 (good old enamel. lol) Started doing an apprenticeship for body and paint. Did that for a while. Did not care for the owner's shabby work or ethics and quit. Have been a general freight relocation specialist for the past 24 years otherwise.

Currently have a couple of projects on the waiting list.

Bought a '89 Mustang GT ragtop from a friend that lived in LA. Kept it for a couple of years and ended up trading it for a 67 F-100 shortbox 6 years ago. It had been rebuilt 13 years ago. Now needs some rust removal/repaint done and the 351W has a cracked head. Engine is out and a 302 is in it for now. Still undecided on what I'm going to do with the 351W. Aluminum heads?? Clevor?? Am thinking of doing the Crown Vic conversion and 4 link with mini tubs? Time will tell.

Also have a '63 Econoline pick-up that needs a bunch of work. I have wanted 1 for over 40 years. Going to stay with the 6, but will hop it up and make some changes on it. Some of you have probably seen it at the Stirling Flea market. I have been told that it has been there a couple of time before in the For Sale corral. Somebody in the past has added 2 more tailights to it and butchered up the dash by mounting a auto shifter where the ashtray goes. It does need work, but I've worked on worse!! Last time it was registered was 1980.

Current project is a '76 F-350 dually that I am putting a 7.3idi/5 speed into and converting the flatbed to a dump with removable sides/tailgate. It's real close to the shop doors now. Couple of other little projects to finish off, then in it goes! Planning on having that on the road for next spring. Is a complete tear down and rebuild.

I am also into older garden tractors. Have 9?? or 10?? Bolens ranging from 1963 up to 1976. Some are for parts. Looking forward to getting then parts ones stripped down and then gone!! Need the room! Have tillers, disc, snow throwers, blades, mower decks and a couple of other implements that go with them.

If I had to choose between a good looking woman and a street rod/hot rod/leadsled.... get out of the way woman!

Hope to get some pics of my brothers '67 pick-up some day too. His has factory auto. I need to see just how it hangs on his and the linkage.

Glad to have you join the group Ziggy. I'm just up the street in Campbellford if you're ever feeling like a roadtrip and a beverage.
Always building something at my place and when it's too cold we hide in the studio and pinstripe for the winter.
Chris.

Nope, schooled in London. Moved outta there when the city slickers complained about the hot rods - the corn out here in the sticks don't care!

I'm making a fresh "Road Signature" in my avatar - lots out here for sure!

Thanks sasquatch!

Thanks 2inchestoolow!

Thanks Chris! Will take you up on the invite some day. Your talent is something to be envious of. Have watched a few guys and gals apply their art. Always got a rush watching it as it happens!

Welcome.  That Nova would actually have been a Pontiac Acadian Canso I'm thinking.  They look virtually the same, Pontiacs version of the Nova.

Thank you Chevypkup66. Very nice ride you have there. Used to drive a '67 a few years ago when I was installing pools. 327/4 speed and a thirsty carb! come to think about.... also had tire issues... but only on the rear.....
