Hi Found this site while doing a search for "how ontario laws screw car guys" I want to build a "custom" car and started reading the BS rules / laws. I am still a Musclecar guy but looking in a new direction

I am not really a muscle car guy..Sort of fat, bald, ugly, and I mostly like Fords with Chevy power..not much muscle ,like comfy seats, short skirts, and red under the dash lights..and just cruising..Good to have you ..From St.Marys Ont..
I just got my project car delivered today. I waited as not to jinx the sale in progress.(apparently I was first of many to inquire)

It is a 4 door, a quick photo edit and this is what I hope to end up with. and need to fix ownership issues.

I have posted a few opinions so far... some good some bad.
I know my opinion is just that, I don't mean to offend anyone.
I believe that the north american auto industry is as important as the war of 1812 and any other conflict which we took part in. ( I am not saying the industry compares in anyway to conflicts that take lives, make heroes and protect freedom). What I am saying is, like all those who made our countries what they are they protected what we had become.
One of those historical journeys was the automotive field. We in North America have created (in my opinion) far superior auto's than other countries (few exceptions). What is happening is the things that made our industry superior is now disappearing in favour of cheap 3rd world imported parts (recalls= crap overseas parts). Is the world's #1 recall artist not Toyota?, (GM racing for the title.)
We need to stop buying 3rd world junk, tell you MP that free trade makes the rich richer and fills our landfills with inferior cheap imported junk, (aka dollarstore crap)
We used to make good cars...... now they have caught the 3rd world flu.
