Good Caliper Installation

My niece picked up her new (used) to her 2008 Jeep from a Chrysler dealership yesterday and got a flat tire an hour later.

Someone helped her pull off the wheel and found this:

GREAT CALIPER INSTALL.JPG

I guess the rubbing caliper may have had something to do with the flat tire.

Disgusting certification, that garage/mechanic needs to loose the inspection station certificate.
Pathetic. Hope you make a BIG noise about this one!!

I find this kind of thing is the result of someone being called away from a job for some reason .Usually the boss or owner has something or someone that has to be delt with right at this moment and can't waite till the current job is completed.Probably had the caliper on and was called away befor he put the bolts in or someone had to finish the job for him. Take it back and get the money back. I'd be afraid of what the rest of it is like.

Yep that never should have happened. Mechanic should have taken it for a test drive before releasing it to the customer.
On the other side, if anyone here has never made a mistake at work in their life, please raise your hand.

Yep, made my share of mistakes at work but none that could have potentially killed someone.

Reminds me of a vehichle "FastChevy" had in his shop awhile back.

The guy didn't have a long enough steel brake line , so took a short cut and ran the new line through the coil spring to the wheel cylinder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure he had it in the middle of the gap though. What's wrong with that?

Actually not.  They had the nerve to mention using the spare tire....

Then they were insisting only a pair of tires needed changing.

Unbelievable! no

 I'll say it this way:

I believe it's Downsview Chrysler.

This is the name I remember my sister telling me.
