About that Green Mamba car....Saw it at the old Toronto Dragstrip in the early 70s...Doug Rose the owner/driver had previously lost his legs due to a crash.....and came back to drive the car again. Heres an article

Wow, what a great collection of pics!! I got through 10 pages so far, have to go back when my eyes straighten out!! Lol

One of the scariest cars there i saw was that "Green-Mamba" jet car with the driver sitting way up front, must have been tricky to steer that thing straight!!

Wow, i just googled Doug Rose the driver of that green Mamba, and didn't know he had lost both of his legs from the knees down in a crash sometime ago, however he is still touring with the jet car putting on exhibitions at age 70.

Drag racers are incredible people !
