Went To Flatblacks Store To Steal Some Metal Out Of His Stash, Than Off To Show The Kids How To Find The Phantom Farm(Local Halloween Haunt). Than A Great Drive Through The County Roads Back To Coldsprings. Unlike Dakota I Took The Ford Ranger And Left The 52 Chevy In The Drive Shed. What The Hell Was I Thinking. Sucks Getting Old.

Scored some trim off of a 57 Merc 2 door hardtop my buddy was going to drag out of the bush, scored a full set of 15 x 7 Cheviot rims off of a car at a junkyard, scored some vintage Tonka trucks in excellent shape at the dump, guy called me and asked if I wanted a chainsaw engine powered WARN winch for FREE! Also scored at set of big home speakers at the dump for the garage I work at.Too wet and cold here to cruise....

Drove up to my sons place in the country in my 53 F100 to look at some new bits and pieces he collected for his projects. Just after I arrived my other son turned up so we all had a good visit a bit of lunch and a few laughs. Man I love driving old Effie along those country roads.

After a weekend of cold, wet weather today was a beautiful sunny day so after completing my "to do" list, time to get the septic pumped out,  headed out for what might be the last drive of this season. Filled up the tank with some ethanol free premium fuel, added the fuel stabilizer and took the Poncho out for a 40 mile run. Went outside and found ice in the puddles today so I guess since its nice out it is a good day for the yearly ritual, putting on the snows. Found the jack but where is the handle, found the fourway now where the hell are those lugnuts for these rims. OK got them, found the pad for the ground to save my knees. Changed the 2on the back of the van no problem, can't get the nuts loosened on the front wheels. What did I do with the pursuader(long bar to fit on the fourway). OK got it ,damn the phone. OK back to work, where the hell are my gloves, damn dogs. Ok I throw the ball for awhile. Got my gloves back from the dogs and the wheels off but of course one is flat. Dig out the compresser and the pig tank and away we go. Damn phone again. Ok now what did I do with those gloves again, awe the heck with it I've done the van and the wifes car,The Boy can do his own car, its time for a coffee, there's those gloves they were in my back pocket all the time.
