Was just reading my new issue of Old Autos and saw an advertisement for Steve Plunketts show next year.I thought it had been cancelled. Dates are June 7,8 2014 It is a great show to attend!!!!
It's back on alright but just as a car show, the big name entertainment acts, huge tents, Saturday night banquet is all gone. So scaled back from prior years.

I have attended since 08 best show I have ever attended The big name acts are all dying off raises over 200g per event for charity cost him double that to put it on
Great to hear that it has been verified! Most of us knew that the whole show wasn't being abandoned, but the entertainment portion of the show was losing funds for the last few years. Happy that it is confirmed for the car show portion - great venue and large turnouts for this one! Mark it on your calenders!

Glad the dates have been confirmed. One of the best outdoor shows in Ontario.
Watch for further announcements from Steve. I am sure he will come up with something special.
There is a good update on the Fleetwood Country Cruize-In Facebook page. The show is on! It's a Bucket List Show.
If you have an Ontario address you live close enough. I have driven 700 MILES to an Ontario Show. Is there a problem? There are Lotsa reasonably priced good clean motels in London, 20-30 miles from show.
Again, it is on the same weekend as the Barrie Automotive Flea Market, so some fancy foot work is in order to attend both, especially if one is vending at Barrie, but not impossible.
I should have started attending Fleetwood several years earlier and more often, although, I have attended 3 times so far.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: There are NOT enough Hot Rods attending Fleetwood Country Cruize-In.
There are Lotsa restoreds, original unrestoreds, classics, but not enough Customs and Hot Rods.
Maybe we can change that, with plenty of Ontario Rodders apparel.

In previous years some from out of town dropped their car off Friday. Left it and went to their hotel. There is security 24/7 and it's safe. But Steve only allowed it if it was pre scheduled. I suggest if your from way out of town it's a suggestion I'd consider far in advance. Just call and ask him. Wait a few days and he will return your call.
Seen a blurb in the London Free Press on it. Mentioned the only act that made money was the Beach Boys, the rest came up a bit short. The daytime show is going on as always with a few add ons. It's quite the show being hosted on an estate.
