found this piece on sunday at ancaster , to ugly not to take home.....will be in the man cave on the wall ... guy said it was from a 37 packard ( i really couldnt tell you though )
lol could very well be , this is a solid piece,, got no rot , just dinged and dented , i think all could be hammer and dollied out , as for the inserts ,weel thats another story , but ive never seen 1 before , thought it was kool .
I would say he is right ..It's from a Packard hard to mistake that sheet metal..but I can't identify the year as being anything other than what he said so I believe he is correct or pretty close on the year ..I had a Packard back several years ago and it had pretty much the same grille mine was a 38 and it looked like the same grille only mine had shutters in the grille maybe that does too..hard to tell in the pics, but mine those grill bars would operate with a thermostat and were able to close ..just can't remember anything else about them..
Funniest part is we drag said rusty wall art up to my truck and yellow man drops it on the side of the box. I bet everyone within a 100 yards jumped and looked . Just laughed and dragged it the rest of the way in . Like one more scratch is going to matter
