I buried 7 friends before I was 21. All seperate drinking and driving accidents. Yet I see people do this still today and brag about it like Alcohol is funny and a joke. Perhaps a uligy would smarten them up? Sorry no empathy for anyone who drinks and drives or toses a few back with the boys so to speak. I hate alcohol anyway

i had four pins in my left femur, 14 broken bones in my left hand, separated shoulder and a broken collar bone because some drunk decided he could pass 5 cars and nailed me head on while i was on a motorcycle. at least i can claim that i wrote off a dodge diplomat with my body.

here,s what I got . in the past I may have done a few foolish things , but I don't consider my self a saint or a sinner . But , I can appreciate the efforts of those who , made the right decision as to not drink and drive or just plain act responsibly in those kinda situations . seemed simple to me ..77.

my racing partner was killed by a drunk driver that went thru a light . if you see the madd comercials for the walk to raise funds awareness at barrie lake simcoe . shows the family with the picture of the guy on the white shirt .
the drunk guy got minor minor injuries an had air bags . 7 hours after the accident , they gave him a blood test , the amounta alcohol still in his blood . hospital people said a normal person woulda been unconscious at time of accident .
as far as I know the case still hasn't been settled , and the guy,s never been charged with anything .
but it is amazing to see the carnage that can be caused by just simply poor decisions and judgement ..77.

23 years ago, I had a very good friend that got killed by a couple of drunks. They were driving a '69 GTO. She was straddling the console. They came up on a corner doing about 60-70mph more than advised speed for the corner (25mph). The went into the ditch. From what the cops/coroner could tell, she impaled her crotch on the shifter. Then because she was not buckled in, she was tossed part way out of the passenger window and was crushed. When the car flipped again, she was thrown from the car only to have the car crush her again. Was a pall bearer for that. Real eye opener for me on how life can go by so fast. She was only 19. The driver was never charged. Him and his buddy got banged up pretty bad, yet lived. He had his license yanked for a couple of years. He was only charged with impaired.
3 years ago, my son got married. 2 years ago my daughter got married. last year my X-wife got married and my best friend got married as well. (and NO, not to each other) I was designated driver for all of them. Life is to valuable to waste on stupidity!
I usually drive about 150,000+ miles a year. I've seen a lot of stupidity and have seen way to much carnage...
