Found your forum while looking for project parts.  Nice forum.

I'm actually a jeep guy but I currently have a 70 Nova, bored 454, 4 spd, 12 bolt blah blah, going to strip it and paint this winter.  I also have a 67 Beaumont in approximately a thousand pieces that I will get to some day.  Decided I would like to build a 32 Ford tudor sedan instead, actively looking for a body to start with.

Thanks everyone.

Yes, I have fond memories of the Arms from highschool days, having been politely yet forcefully asked to leave a few nights... Now that I have a son in highschool I'm kinda glad it's closed. lol

Bought my first jeep in highschool and loved them ever since. Same with my first beaumont, although I was taken on the deal, frame was rotten and I was a kid who knew nothing. Many vehicles have come and gone since, and I still know nothing, just have a greater collection of tools and a little less fear of the unknown.

Here's the Beaumont when it last ran. I put a new frame under it and was collecting parts for a big block swap and complete rebuild, but it really needed everything replaced. The body is together on the frame for storage purposes, it still needs everything. I do not believe I have the money and skill right now to put it back together the way I picture it should be in my head, so it will sit and wait. Maybe I will just give it to my son when he gets a driver's license in a couple years.

Here's my Nova. Bought it together and running for the price of the parts I wanted for the Beaumont. It was too solid to pass up, and cheap. I did have the motor rebuilt 2 years ago. Dart heads, too much cam. My neighbours hate the 3 inch dual exhaust, flowmaster 44's. It rattles windows and sets of car alarms. It's a fun car.

For you jeep guys here's my last CJ, 86 with a tbi 305, scout 44's spring over axle, full cage, home built everything. My son helped me rebuild it every winter. We beat that jeep like it owed us money.

Sadly the jeep club I was in imploded. Too much infighting between members, over stupid **** like who makes a better tire, what vehicle is better offroad. I can't stomach politics, I just wanted to hang out with some like minded guys and go wheelin. I've found the same with some car guys I have met locally. I appreciate any custom vehicle I see and would like to know more about it, regardless of whether I would actually own it or not. I could care less what someone else drives, the common interest is the hobby itself, not the make and model of vehicle. End of rant. Sorry I offend someone.

Here's my current daily driver, 2012 Jeep. Sold the CJ to purchase it. It's actually my work vehicle.

Sorry for the long read, rest assured it's all I've got to say.

Very good read. Shows that you've been there and enjoyed the hobby and made it a part of your life. Politics play a lot on these hot rod forums where the focus should be on the cars and not on the preferences. i'm biased towards one make but enjoy all well built cars regardless of make. Beaumont has a lot of promise and it's also Canadian, eh!!!!!! Worked at AMC for 3 years at the plant and drove many CJ's. My favourite was a J10 (J20) pick-up......

Welcome and I love the Beaumont. My neighbor as a kid had a 67 396 4 speed in his garage up on blocks from the day he moved in. The car was gorgeous and he had just had it painted before he stored it. The interior was immaculate as well. He always said he was saving it for his son and that was when it would go on the road again, his son was 4 years old at the time and it was 1978. He was a great guy and I swear I talked to him everyday about selling me the car. He did promise that if he was to ever sell it I could have first crack at it.

The day did come as his son was acting like an idiot so the car went up for sale. I was not around but he did check around to find me I found out to sell it to me but could not get in touch with me. He sold it to a guy I knew and that guy lasted 3 weeks with the car before he wrapped it around a pole and destroyed the car. I would get one if I could find one but I am in the hunt for a 68-70 B body Mopar right now.
