i saw a fellow the other day who was riding his bicycle, what a also noticed is the smoke from a two stroke engine eminating from the box he had on the back of the bike, seems he had concealed an engine to drive his bike as those are now illegal to have.  smart guy.

Ive seen quite a few here in Hamilton , think most have 49 cc on them ....

yes there was alot of people with those little engines on bicycles but the local cops have really clamped down on them.

Probably a licensing/insurance issue......Too bad they wouldnt clamp down on those E bikes

There have been a number of those bikes around over the past ???? 40 years, can't remember the names of them right now but one was "Solex". Solex i think drove the front wheel, engine was mounted up at the top of the front forks.
49 CC was the limit in engine size on all mopeds.

 Id like to agree with you . But it seems anytime you allow them to make new rule's targeted at one group sooner or latter they twist them around to suit there own purpose with something else. Any thing with two wheels and a gas motor under 49cc falls into the moped category anything above that falls under a motorcycle. There are some adders like max speed , pedals. Really they already have all the rules in place other then how they define motor.
