Kinda sad ending for a great era of well built American cars..that we loved..We lived during the best era of history in my opinion I would not have wanted to live in any other time or place than I have ..I am going out feeling blessed for sure..the best music, the best cars, the best od jobs .the best life style, We sure have a lot to be thanful to for all the guys that fought the battle of freedom for us.. I know it's not Rememberance day but as I go into this new year I am feeling pretty lucky and blessed for everything I have ..I sure evry body here feels that way too..Life is great..Hope you enjoy these old pics as much as I like em...

The new television ad brought back memories ...looks like a 7 inch . About 1951-2 , one kid on the block had one ..7" and we would go over and watch , spellbound . Then my mother ended up buying an Admiral , I'm gonna say 12 inch , and I was in heaven . Lots of " test pattern " to watch too .
I remember the Corn Flakes frogmen, I had a couple. I think it was baking soda that was packed into the bottom of them that got them to move in the water. Forgot all about that stuff until I seen the ad. I wonder what my grandkids will have to remember....their first Ipad, Ipod, Isomething or other I suppose.
Nah..It's easier to just keep them on my Pc and I have them on a thumb drive for safe keeping..besides when I croak my family will just toss all this old crap as they put it..They think I just waste my time with all this old past time stuff..I should get them better oganized it's hard to find certain things but I was just saving them all for me but I am glad that others here appreciate looking back ..they were good times and good memories for me anyway even though some were before my time too..I appreciate the new technology but I love where we came from and how we got here..It has been a great journey eh !!!
