Just got my mail and what did I get,a Drivers Licence Renewal ! $80 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I am not a senior yet (8 yrs to go) I want to drive so I have little choice.
I hope when the election comes the people of Ontario vote these A holes OUT!

All I can say is,when the Province went RED,rural Ontario suffered and still is. My area has always been Blue,(John Wise,Ron MC Neil etc) and they stood behind their constituants.These folk look after their own interests,not the voters or taxpayers. JMHO

I say if we got more off our butt and had an actual large percent of the voters get offin their a$$ and vote and threw the bums out after I term a few times before they get their 6 years in to get those fat overbloated pensions we just might get some respect as tax payers..but as long as we apathetic and just grumble on forums ..your right so I don't expect to see any change..If things are going to change it's up to us..or as they say...quit yer bitchin...

i've been voting blue most of my life. i do donate a little bit to the cause so i get them hounding me at times but just this week i had a call and turned them down, flat. when i mentioned it to the caller, "hudak isn't the guy to cut it. he had the last one handed to him on a platter and blew it." he mumbled, but-but and went on to a scripted response. we need another davis or dare i say it harris. ----just me. but, you have to vote.
Why do we need to/have to wait a full term before we terminate them?
The rest of us get canned immediately if we can't do the job, so why not them?
Maybe a probationary period, if they don't pass, the 2nd highest vote count takes over, no need for elections.
A car friend from Missouri has the closest thing to a cure for these pigs at the trough. You are elected for six years then gone. No pension. No career politicians where corruption tends to creep in yet time to push through any needed legislation. As it is now, get re-elected once and you get your eight years and a full pension from what I understand. Our local MP got that and has already announced that he won't be running for re-election. Our MPP isn't any better. She got bought off so that John Tory could make his third run at a seat in provincial parliament. He lost. His own constituents didn't want him. What makes them think that we wanted him? That's three attempts at something like $500K a shot. She had the gall and nerve to run again and people were stupid enough to re-elect her. Sadly, as mentioned earlier, red, blue or orange, you get the same smell. Perhaps it is true in that we get the government we deserve.
My MPP [P/C] has a column in local paper & is calling for D/Clean to be OVER!! Says the Fibs are using it as a CASH COW & the $5:00 off after Apr. is nothing but a VOTE buy & their still RIPPING us off up till then, & the 19mil.+ PROFIT is a outrage for a revenue neutral program!!!!
