I started building model kits before I was 10. Eventually I met up with Pete and some of the other guys here and was part of the Ottawa Model club. Damn that was a long time ago, LOL
Went to a technical High school where I took three years of welding and mechanical design as well as any other classes pertaining to vehicles, auto body, sheet metal, auto shop, upholstery, etc.
Started working in the welding field and a couple years later started in the fleet department at Pepsi Cola in Ottawa. Worked there refurbishing trucks bumper to bumper for 15 years leaving as a certified Body Tech and went to work and obtained my Truck and Coach Certification
In 1985 founded Capital Area Mopars car club in Ottawa with a buddy. I have a fondness for all breeds but have always been drawn to Mopars.
All my classics over the years have been daily drivers, a couple have endured a winter or two.
I moved to Southern Ontario in 2002 and basically dropped out of the car scene. I still collect diecast (approx 800+ pieces)and model kits( approx 250 pieces) my only addiction LOL.
I,ll probably twist wrenches till they prey them from my cold dead fingers. Until then I,ll soon be teaching my grandsons the trades. As well my wife wants to help on my Valiant by teaching her how to weld and do wiring.
