Just got off the skype with a buddy of mine in Nashville, he tells me he was out cruising in his roadster and it was 68 degrees today................I told him to &*%$^^.................
we have 2' plus drifts all over and the wind just won't quit...........I think tomorrow may be a snow day!
I've pretty much decided to leave this continent, and go south for a week in December next year, so xmas and new year's abroad. Come back for three weeks, then go away for another week in Feb. This way I'll only get 3 weeks of winter at a time.
Although it would probably be cheaper to rent a condo in Florida for six months, but I don't have that many vacation days.
Beautiful sunny morning, low of -24c, still great weather for the loggers here, 4 tractor trailers hauling every day for the past? 6 weeks out of the 1700 acres of hardwood they're logging, trying to get the skidway emptied before "Half Load" season comes on.
At another site where they are constructing a power dam there are 3 trucks hauling steady, lots of truck traffic, this has to be one of the best haul times they have had in years.
