i can imagine that would suck back the fuel if you were into the pedal alot.  what do you think that engine cost to build?  did you have it done or do it yourself.  i have always wanted something with a blower sticking outta the hood

Thanks for the compliment Shawn,,th350,2800 stall ,10 bolt posi, not positive but i believe 307 gears,,the milage is just a guess, about 1600 rpm at 60 mph, if I get hard on its anybodys guess mayby 6 mpg, crused to Sauble and back from waterdown [like an old lady] cost mayby 120 dollars last summer but it depends on the price of gas,,, just sayin,,and a jaunt like that I carry an extra can...200+miles....

That's great rpm for 60 mph! I am spinning 2800 at 60 mph. Definitely have to look for higher gears. (3.90:1)
That will be my next project. Thanks for info.

Not sure how tall your rear tires are, but they look to be 29"tall. If you had 3.07:1 gears you would be reving just over 2200 with no converter slip.

Either you have 2.2:1 gears or your tach is shot !

What year did you build the car? Just asking because of the wheels and tires that stick out a bit in the rear. I would like to find an old build something from the 60-70's give it a little tlc and drive it!!

ps forgot to tell you nice car!!
