I love pouring coffee or pop out the window when some A-hole is tailing me.
Interesting. So, these people you poured coffee on, did they suddenly come to the realization, after your coffee hit their car/truck, that rushing anywhere and tailgating someone was a bad idea? Did they suddenly change their outlook on things, pull into the slow lane with a "coffee pourer is right you know, I'll just get there when I get there", or did it do nothing more than piss off an already impatient driver even more, putting you and others around you at more risk than they are already in?

no...several times I got the reaction I expected.
And that made everything better how?
Are you one of those guys, that won't move over to the left lane (when it's free), to let "on ramp" traffic merge in (out of courtesy)? Just because you can, and it's your right?
A lot of work needs to be done, to "educate" drivers to drive safely. And unfortunately, following the law or the rule books isn't going to do it. Common sense and courtesy/consideration/awareness, is a much better choice, in many circumstances.

On the contrary. I'm usually one to move over, even when I'm doing 20 over (which is the norm)
BUT, if I'm overtaking other vehicles, I'm not getting in the slow lane, slowing down myself or getting boxed in just to let a tailgater past. He can wait until I am done passing.
My beef is when I have some A-hole on my bumper waiting to pass on a 2 lane road. When I cant see headlights over my tailgate, there's a problem. I wouldn't say it made my day better, but it did give the the opportunity to practice a few techniques.
