Thats what I said last week when we got about 8"....Now it melted a bit and its a sheet of friggin ice...Poor dog doesnt even want to go outside for a crap.
I just went out for a walk with buddy. I made it about 10 feet and landed flat on my ass. Turned around and went back into the house. I'm no good to anyone with broken old bones.

I guess the old lady heard my complaint. The sun came out and the temp went way up. Driveway is clear and the snow is all but gone. Living in Niagara does have some advantages.
While most of that crap is disappearing pretty quickly, there are still several impressive.... or wait a minute , UN impressive piles that are solid ice on the lower half. I'm thinking these will be another week or two going away. But hey, I can see over the pile when I'm exiting the driveway now - in the van anyway, not quite shunken enough yet to see over it in the car! The wind was relentless this year and I've noticed a heavy coating of field on the grass in the melted areas. It'll take a few good downpours to wash that silt down into the soil, hopefully before it smothers the grass!!!

Today was a winner. We opened the windows and turned down the T/stat. Tempted to go for a cruise but the roads are still pretty white (salt) around here. Temp on the thermometer was 58 Farenheight. tomorrow supposed to be even better. Need a good rain to clean the roads.
I woke up to 24 degrees and it got warmer all day. I couldn't drink beer fast enough to keep me cool!
Oh I am in Punta Cana.
Hardest part of my day is finding where to do nothing!
