I really wish there was a "none of the above" box on the ballets to check
jus sayin ..

and , I'm sure it's more complicated but going by a grade 12 law or history text book , any over throw of canadian government by NON VIOLENT means IS legal and does make for a legal new government

something that maybe the smart types should have a look into

I have no opinion on it at the moment because I haven't done any more reading on the subject but maybe some of you have some insight.

I hope the campaign concintrates on the future. We are all well aware of the liberal scandles, the Concervitive Common Sense Revolution fiasco, and the NDP social debt riddled programes. I want to hear what they are going to do today and tomorrow. I want to know how they are going to create jobs without giving the big compneys massive tax holidays. The Libs gust tried to fool us by removing the debt reduction from our hydro bills saving us some money while at the same time removing the rebate meaning we will actually paying more. I want to know about putting shops and teck back in schools. I want to know how they are going to fund the apprentice rules and oppertunities they are talking about. Lots of questions not much time to get the answers. Forget the party vote the best candidate . Ed

We ,in the Falls voted the best candidate when we elected Kim Craitor. He fought for our hospitals and race track and went against Dirty Dalton to represent us. He was eventually ignored out of parliment because he voted against party lines. he banged his head against the establishment wall for 7 + years to no avail. You either vote for the leader or your against him  and you may as well be opposition.

One of the problems, we have had, here in Huron-Bruce

was sending wonderful representatives to Queens park....  full of  pee and vinegar...

and then the "Old Boys" there, soon tell them, how things are....

Then they come back here  extolling the virtues of the "Old Boys"

We fought long and hard to let Queens Park we didn't want Wind Turbines  and what do we get  ??    Hundreds and hundreds of them   no

Sounds like a guy I would vote in again just to send a message to the leaders. Get a few of this type of guys in and the ballance of power changes quickly.Reward the ones who work for you because you never know what they have accomplished behind the scenes.Without this kind of guy nothing changes. I'll say one thing about eliminateing the obligation to pay union dues

it will or at least should but the bug to the union's azz to actually earn those dues - then the "new" guy might decide he does wanna pay them

a friend works for the school board as a caretaker in T-O

they went on strike years back - he said "I can't afford this BS , and no matter how much of a raise I get I'll never get the money I'm looseing now being on strike"

with rent , a wife and 3 kids that's something to consider
granted his benifits are good - but if you loose your home 'cause someone else says your not going to work , that has to really suck

  • Here is what the Liberals  have done for Ontario in the past decade.
Remember...they had a no tax increase election message/campaign.
  • They increased all the licensing fees from your car to your boat including fishing and hunting.
  • They introduced the health care premium  (not called a tax) and some couples pay as much as $1,500.00 a year.
  • They has put an ECO tax on many containers such as paint cans and window washer fluid, oil filters, air filters most and people still don’t realize it until they see the bill - they kept that one real quiet.
  • they put a disposal tax on all electronics.
  • They put the disposal tax back on tires.
  • And now They has passed the HST tax - the largest tax on the province ever and the only other tax in Ontario that ever came close to this in the past was the health care premium.  they passed this bill even though 76% of the people in Ontario were against it.
This HST will provide the Province with an additional THREE BILLION dollars a year.
  • SoonJuly 15th, we will all have our S.M.A.R.T. Meters on which we will have to pay perpetual rent and will end up doing our laundry in the middle of the night.  We are also going to pay big time for air conditioning from now on because when we need it the most it will be in the prime time of usage.
  • Let us not forget the E-health scandal with 1.2 billion dollars wasted and paid out to friends and relatives.   What was McWynnes  answer to this? “ Well, if the people of Ontario don't like it, they can show it in the next election.”  Nice attitude.  This after they fired the CEO and then gave her a severance package of $300,000 - not bad for only being on the job for seven months.
  • And what about the SEVEN BILLION DOLLARS windmill power plant contract that they awarded to KOREA ?  One would think there was some place in Canada or North America that could have built these.
  • They also closed the emergency rooms in Port Colburne and Fort Erie because there is not enough money. There have been two deaths since then because by the time they got to St. Catharine's it was too late.
But they then awards a hospital in Toronto three million dollars - of course, that was in the riding where there just happens to be a by-election to replace George Smitherman!
  • They have taken the richest most prosperous province in Canada down to one of the 'Have-Nots' and, over the past six & one half years, have increased the budget deficit from $5.6 Billion dollars to TWENTY SEVEN BILLION DOLLARS and they are still in Power and still have a year and a half to go.
And don’t forget the Premiers nice little salaryincrease of  $40,000.00 a year - millions of people in the province don’t earn even half of that.
  • Have we forgotten all the MPP’S who also got a 14% increase? And now that they've had their increases they come out with a new budget to freeze all provincial employees wages for two years - a bit late don't you think.
  • They increased the hydro tax by 10% in April of 2010.
  • They has increased the tax on liquor and wine by 10% in May of 2010.
  • They continue to permantently 'Blight' landscapes across the province with unsightly wind turbines.

I hope everybody remembers the way we got screwed by the Liberal party and - remember - not one Liberal MPP had enough guts to vote against any of the above.

Wake up Ontario ....!!  Vote PC

·         And all pensioners got no raise at all over the past 18 months!!!!!!!!!

Thats quite a list of "acomplishments " the Liberals have done in their power run all for the betterment of Ontario, HA !  There is no doubt they have to go and if the PCs had

anybody other than Hudak leading them i,d be first in line to vote. He worries me with all his indecision and his million job platform. I still remember the Harris years and

Hudak was his top sidekick backing all his moves.  He seems to be the lesser of 2 evils in the upcoming election so when i go in to vote i will be quite aprehensive . I

just hope he doesn,t screw things up like he did in the last election. I was really looking forward to voting for him until he kept putting his foot in his mouth on key issues.

Well we know for sure what the Liberals will do..A kazillion more dollars of debt and scandals to come from the "green Energy Act" and you can bet the McWynne estimate to spend on Hi speed rail @ 29 billion will easily turn into $129,000,000,000,000, Cash cow... not counting the scandals and corruption to come..The Ont Liberal  pension Scam will just be another word for "revenue tools" That money wil go into general revenue to fund Toronto transit or more Green bull****..As a small business I will be forced into closing ..The Overhead is killing me..I will not be able to take that the summer student this year, Nor will I be able to have a College student work part time when going to school..I can not afford the payroll deductions..Hell the heat and hydro andcost for fuel to run a service truck is eating up all the funds..E-tests, sticker prices, college of trades tax..It has turned into a nightmare for a small business to operate in this province under the Liberals, costs  just keep going up , Insurance is insane..I just don'r have any more to give..In fact If the Liberals do get elected I will selling everthing and heading to either Sask,or Alberta to retire over the next couple years..I just can't afford to to continue to live in this province while the Liberals continue to piss my my HARD EARNED MONEY away on stupid  crooked schemes and fantasies lies and other bull**** schemes ..They have been the worst government in my memory..May they rot in hell..

I do NOT believe the Conservatives are pristine or the end to our struggles in this this province ..I honestly believe the Liberals should be held accountable for all the scandals, lying, and downright dishonesty, with lying about coverups and serious other issues ..They need to be fired...That is how we as voters show just how fed up with corruption and if the next government contines to be wasteful .does not listen to Ontarions.. They too woill and should be a one term government..Ontarians need to get off their lazy apathetic ass and show our displeasure with the only thing we have and that is your VOTE...To me the Liberals are just the worst choice on the ballet...

It makes me laugh, well cry actually, but if the Liberals get their made in Ontario Pension plan someone is going to retire very well off. I just won't be the folks who contributed to the scam, I mean plan.

I would like to see that SOB McThief in jail. He truly belongs there.

The dilemma is there isnt any "better" useless idiot. Liberals are a definate NO because of their record of deceit and waste. that leaves Hudak and Horwath. If a minority

NDP is elected that will be the end of Hudak , thankfully. So there,s Horwath who will have to tread softly or its another election. I don,t want another election but its a sure

way to get rid of Hudak and i,m still remembering the Ray Gov,t.  You,re right it,s the best useless idiot.

In each of the last 3 elections the Conservatives had the election to lose. And each time it took one stupid badly timed comment to do it.

Unfortunately it looks as if history has once again repeated itself. With the "I am going to cut 100,000 jobs" does not matter if there is a valid reason for it, or that he had a plan. Simply stating I am cutting 100,000 jobs has lost a lot of people. HOPEFULLY it was early enough in the campaign that he gets a chance to explain the comment and overcome the slip.

I just hope that voters will be able to see past all the negative that will be spouted by the Libs and NDP with only that sound bite.

A month to election date and Hudak is steadily digging a hole he won,t be able to get out of.  If he can,t see what he,s doing to his chances to win, then how

can he expect the voters, ( who can see) to support him. He needs to fire his campaign managers and get to it. Who ever gets elected will win by default.

At least Hamilton has 10 top employers. In Niagara we have the tourist trade, minimum wagesand a large employer. The casino which pays a bit better but the number of employees has been cut because of government regulations and lack of patrons. Its easier to give the large employers who have left than the ones who are still here. Minimum jobs rule in Niagara.

That's the problem.  People won't listen.  All they will hear is the sound bite "I will cut 100,000 jobs"

He tried to explain it today on the news when the Global guy went after him.  He really needs to fire the idiot that gives him talking points.

Its and outstanding idea, I hate big government, (being a Republican) but that little sound bite is going to hurt unless he can change to tune.  I am hoping like hell he can, I cannot afford the Liberals anymore.  I am almost at the point of selling my house and moving my ass back down south.

If you look at this chart and only focus on the groups he says he's going cut (provincial and territorial, vocational & trade and local general gov't) then he plans to cut the workforce in those areas by 20% at least.

I have a really hard time believing he can do this. And the severance packages will be crazy as well.

What he needs to do is detail exactly how he plans to make these cuts and also how he plans to create 1 million jobs. If he can do that he's a shoe in.

Unfortunately I think these are just campaign promises and he has no real plan to execute them. I hope he proves me wrong.

My letter to Tim and the PC's This morning..I try to send a report every day of what I am gleaning and hearing from the streets..

Listen you guys for crying out loud ..We should win this election hands down so lets not get our foot in our mouth..Tim needs to keep hammering on Mcwynne about the scandals ,the cost of hydro, and stay on her everyday ..he needs to be careful what he says about cutting jobs or make sure he gets his whole talking point in, not just the little sound bites..You guys should also watch Sun news everyday to see the talking heads and what they say ..They are pretty much in touch with the people I talk to..Everybody hates Mcwynne..but they are not impressed with Hudak either ..So lets face it Hudak is not going to win because of his charming personality when he speaks in public..He needs to stay on message..He also needs to lossen up on his Bay street look and wear some more casual clothes and keep the bay street look for official debates or special occasions ..He is not connecting well and we have a long way to go..I have a lot of contacts and friends in the Niagara riding and he is not liked in that area ..Most people I know or see the online chatter are STILL UNDECIDED if they are going to vote for Hudak..so he needs to sort that out and try to give them something  he needs every single vote if we are to win this ..He needs to SAY WHAT HE MEANS AND GET RIGHT..AND HE NEEDS  TO MEAN WHAT HE SAYS..He needs tp speak directly to just what his plan is shut down the God-damn Wind turbines in Southern Ont..No crap..He needs to very clear about that issue there are a lot of people who do know just where the PC government stands on that issue..no spin doctors..we need the straight truth..E-testing..is just bull-**** and it needs to go …It has harrased and the people who least afford it..the poor working class..Who in hell thinks they drive old cars because they want to..They are struggling and it’s the only wheels they can afford with the cost of gas and insurance you dumb sunabitches..I am watching and I know a lot of people are still on the fence ..becasue we do not trust any of you..your all a bunch fo bull****ters and liars because you do not have the balls to be straight up..your so busy putting a spin on everything…WE ARE SICK OF LYING BULL****TING POLITICIANS..GET IT..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So lets grow some balls and SERVE THE PEOPLE LIKE WE EXPECT YOU DO..THAT IS THE REASON WE VOTE YOU AZZHOLES IN TO OFFICE NOT FOR PERSONAL GAIN AND FAT PENSIONS…BUT TO SERVE THE PEOPLE OF ONTARIO..

JUNE 12 PROVINCIAL VOTE

I think everyone should vote but if you don't think any of the parties are worthy of being in charge there is a solution. DON"T JUST SPOIL THE BALLOT or NOT VOTE. This comes right from the Canada Election Act. ...
from Services Ontario - Election Act R.S.O. 1990, CHAPTER E.6
Declined ballot
53. An elector who has received a ballot and returns it to the deputy returning officer declining to vote, forfeits the right to vote and the deputy returning officer shall immediately write the word “declined” upon the back of the ballot and preserve it to be returned to the returning officer and shall cause an entry to be made in the poll record that the elector declined to vote. R.S.O. 1990, c. E.6, s. 53.
Refused ballots are recorded separately from all other ballots, and send a direct message to the government that you're not just apathetic or uninformed, you're not happy with the electoral system as it stands. The main disadvantage is that nobody, minus a handful of politics geeks, knows about the availability of this method. But now you do.
PLEASE if you are not going to vote for one of the parties running then DO THIS!!!!! You can do this provincially and municipally

I found this on one of the political site and found it interesting. This may be a way to send a message that they can't ignore. Ed

Nothing against any politician, but what you're asking him to do, is to throw on a "smoke screen", so people will vote for him. Isn't that what good politicians do?

I really don't care what they look like.

Just for a change, I don't care what party they are from either...but just do, what you said you'd do, no excuses, no diversions, no lying, no BS, no...

Just do what you were elected to do, or get FIRED!

Who is LIONEL TUPMAN? He is the Liberal candidate for Niagara. Unheard of before this . I guess this means the Libs have all but abandoned Niagara.

Well, with all the money rolling in from the casino, why should they care about anything else?

I think they realise after the make up election just held recently they don,t stand a chance here in Niagara. They finished a very distant third. The Casino is a sore point here in Niagara.

It has done a lot of damage to small business here. I ran my own shop starting in 1992 and i can go over my books and show when the Casino opened by the drop in business. They recently appealed their property tax rate and got them dropped by more than half what they used to. Winnie redid the amount the Casino pays to the City for policing and road

maintenance around the casino thinking it would buy her some votes. It didn,t. Since the Seneca Casino opened across the river in Niagara Falls N.Y. business has dropped significantly

because of the relaxed smoking laws and the liquor laws, and the slots arent as tight as they are here in Niagara.
