Have you noticed none of the 3 little pigs have said a word about the Hst . All the other bone head move's put together is chump change compared to that cash cow. As a matter of fact I'm going to take all the money I saved from the HST and split it between all 3 parties equally .

1100-1200 every month , includeing 180-200 hst for oil makes me laugh when they say the natural gas cost is going to go up by 4 hun a year

if I swaped to gas I'd still be saveing money

She doesn't have any idea of the problems and expense that 'Drive Clean' can cause the average taxpayer !

None of the politicians do !!!

I bet they have never had a car old enough to require a 'Drive Clean' test ... or if they ever had a car old enough,  it was long before 'Drive Clean' or emissions of any kind !!!!

When is the last time you saw one of their personal SUV's,  limo's or campaign buses old enough to qualify for testing ... wink

They just don't have a clue, about this, or many other issues that effect the average taxpayers  ... wink

greeks or romans I can't remember now- they used to have an election every year - to vote which member of their government they wanted out of office

oh , wouldn't that be nice ... make em work to earn their keep just like everyone else has to do

those whom may vote themselves a raise anytime they want to never will "have a clue"

I've never understood the e test deal

how does anyone make money off a 30 odd dollar test ? - unless your doing labour to make it pass

after haveing bought the original equipment , if I were running a shop I'd probably quit after being told to mothball it

Far as I can see the "choice" is between 3 options , all bad.

They're pretty much interchangeable , only the tie colour changes.

All will do whatever they want, and can get away with, when in power.

The public's wants are a mere inconvenience, and easily ignored, our only reason to exist is the source of the money.

Arguing over the various stated policies, and who is better going to "serve " you is ridiculous.

We all know, and agree that they ALL lie.

They have no power of conviction, and will change their "position" 180 degrees,on anything at the drop of a hat.

Knowing this, why argue about who is better for us, it's all lies.

Anything they say, and swear to today, can be completely forgotten, ignored, or revised into uselessness, tomorrow.

It's like arguing who's better Santa or the Easter bunny.

It's  all imaginary, it's not real.

The screwing we'll all receive, now that's real.

I'd still like to know what would happen if no one voted ...

a campain to elect no one might have interesting results

I'm absolutely sure none of our vets served for the government to have the right to be made up of idiots

I know my great grandfather didn't serve in WWI , kill 1 man he knew of for sure , get wounded 3 times and then fought for years to prove he'd served on top of it all for that

I am not getting what your trying to say..What has changed from any-election in the past about what your saying ??? Does that mean that, Lets say you have somebody you hired to manage a large project for you "The province of Ontario" and you discover at contract renewal time and during the term of the contract that somebody you hired has lied, stole funds, made several corrupt deals, lied more and tried to fudge things so you can't tell what the truth is any more, ran the budget over for the project by several billion dollars and put your company in serious debt and now at performance review time they come and ask for a raise and a new 4 year term contract and tellyou they want to run the debt up another 60billion ....You sit back in your chair and scratch your balls and ponder, well If I hire somebody new that has a different idea that you would say, yah know your just same as the employee I have now, so I may as well just renew that contract give them another 60 billion and let that employee continue to bankrupt my company/province..That logic does not make sense to me..For ten years the Liberals have lied and cheated, and covered it up, people have died over the Orange ambulance scandal, all the health care issues, the last election when they just blatantly spent a billion dollars to save Sousas's seat and then hired an outsider to come in delete all the evidence.. I could go on and on but the point is they are not all the same... I expect honesty and hard choices that I may not like, but I can't except or condone liars, thieves, and recklessness with my money my kids future or this energy act, the destruction of our province and a government that will drive all of hydro bill so high, all manufacturing will leave this province due this government crazy subsidies to wyned and Solar... those costs will bankrupt this procince,,There will be no jobs for our Kids, grand kids, no way to pay off the massive out of control huge debt, We really do need to make the hard decisions ..The past 10years of the Liberals have totally destroyed the economic stability of Ont and the future..Look at the College of trades..seems simple enough on the outside till you start looking at the mechanics of why it was set up and what the goals and mmandate of the College is..and just whose idea it was that put this to-gether..It is funded by big Unions who will soon require every body to be listed in a trade so they, the big unions will be able to control who works and where..They will eventually put several small business out of business..For me this Liberal government has been the most crooked and scandalous I can remember..I can't begin to understand how anybody with children and a vision for there future could even consider another Liberal government..If by some twist of fate they would win It would be doom for Ontario..you think your hydro bills are now..Just wait till till the Liberals get finished sticking a solar panel on your head and a turbine up your ass..You ain't seen nothing yet..For me this has been one lying thieving usless employee who has  done nothing to help build my business/province and I can not see any change unless we change them out...for me they are fired..for just cause...

As an Electrician I'm well aware of the "college of trades", and the money grab that is.

My point is, that unfortunately, I don't expect any difference with any of the other parties either.

Despite whatever lip service they're all spouting now.

I don't believe anything has changed from elections in the recent past.

They've all, again and again, proved what a bunch of lying thieves they are, and yet here we are arguing the merits of the lies they spout.

All the while with full knowledge, based on past performance, that they will do little of what they say they will.

seems the most and least we're able to do is change the hand that keeps reaching into our pocket with the hope the new one isn't quite as addicted to spending it as the one before

and if not , maybe just maybe they'll have a better way to spend it - hopefully not on themselves

I so wish I had a better idea what to do besides say it's long past time we started over from scratch

here is some reading of just what the liberals have done to our take home pay over the last 10 years and if elected they will continue..I see the OPP have a launched an attack add against The PC's Tim Hudak so you can tell just who they favor ..a bunch of crooks..They would rather protect crooks because they know the Liberals will continue to fatten their paychecks and benefits..remember they got an 8% increase last contract..as did all the public sector unions..Something to think about..All of the unions are worried that the PC will get their wages in line with the private sector which is how it should be..

though I have an idea why the opp wanna might stay out of it

the cop who shot Dudley Gerorge died in a traffic accident in a snowstorm with a truck
- in the age of cell phones that's sadly all to easy to "make happen"

I had one of those hummmmm moments when I heard about that

.. and FILTHY hospitals

last time my father was in the ICU at centenary , the dust bunnies on top of the opperating lamp over his bed were thick enough to be noticed just glanceing at it

god help ya if anyone moved it when your laying under it with a big bleeding hole in you

he went to scarborough generial for back opperation in 2010 ( I think)
2 days later he had C diff

after 3 months in hospital fighting it he finally got out

recovery
HA !!

after laying flat out on his back he wasn't good for much and an hour of physio each week for a month or so didn't help any either

but hey if we continue to bring in immigrants who have no clue what's wrong or what's gone missing from our standard of liveing these "problems" will eventually go away - right?

but as long as their willing to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for houses that only cost 30k it's gotta be all good for everyone (??)

I'm 72 and   I've worked, hard, since I was 16.
Despite some health challenges, I still put in
50-hour weeks, and haven't been sick in
seven or eight years. I make a average meager wage, but
I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I
worked to get where I am. Given the economy,
there's no retirement in sight for me yet, and I'm tired.
Very  tired.

I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who
don't have my work ethic.
\

I'm tired of the Liberal government that will  continue to take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global
warming, which no one is allowed to debate. While they force us to subsidize Wind and Solar against our will..

I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must
help support and treat them at methadone clinics, and pay for the
damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a
dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up
their noses while they tried to fight it off?

I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and Liberal  politicians
talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting caught in so many scandals and cover-ups

I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or
poor.
Teachers,  Police, Hydro workers, Nurses, Drs, Fireman..

I'm real tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and
actions.

Yes, I'm  damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 72.. Because, mostly, I'm not going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm
just sorry for mine and yours grandchildren..

Trouble is, even if Hudak gets in, it will be a minority.....Then the 2 ladies(?) will form a coalition government......No matter what, we are basically screwed. The only way anything is going to change is with a Conservative majority, which will never happen

The best thing about last nights debate is that Hudak didn,t make a complete ass of himself. He may actually have a chance of winning this election. If only he could change that dumb ass smile of his.

I watched the tv tonight, and I can't believe what I saw/heard. The news said that Wynne and the Liberals actually have a good chance of winning this election, even with a majority!!!. If this happens, I don't think I will ever vote again in this province, because it looks to me like the voters are completely fried!!!

Harry a vote for the green is a wasted vote..Hudak will need every vote I can muster up for him..the only way to defeat the Fiberals is to hope Hudak gets enough..God I hope we don't get another minority ..All this time and money to go back the same old..disbelief

Vote Conservative..biggrin

The riding here is Conservative, has been forever....not going to change anytime soon.

I wish we had a vote for our riding and for the leader....Trouble is, I wouldnt know who to vote for as leader. The PCs should have dumped Hudak last time, they would be a shoe in this time

Yes they should have dumped him. I don't trust him but,,,,,,what are you going to do??

I'm starting to think like Hemi,, orange is looking good,,I just don't want to waste my vote.

What we need other then the high cost of running it is a shorter term. You screw up you're gone at the end of the year.

Just say'n

Far as I'm concerned, whoever is in power, and screws up like McGinty /Wynne, should be force to repay said money, and not be able to run again until all the money i9s paid back. As far as Wynne, she could eat corn on the cob through a picket fence.

somehow , there's something wrong with this pic (from today's sun)

if these people behind the horse are the best the libs can come up with these days we JUST might stand a chance

hopefully they won't wake up before the polls close

nice teeth btw...

Just a bit of fun got this in the mailbox other than the guy with the rope around his neck and the horse doing a great rendition of Hitler what other safely and labour code infractions can you spot

I would think the running gear is just a prop for the day . They would likely have to stop and puke after 50 feet

that add - the one with her "jogging"

running back and fourth all over the road from side to side ... it just seems to say something - other than what they intended
not to mention ya know they just had to close some street just for her to make the add

where's the run away truck with no brakes when we need it most ?

I think hot rods will be dead in the next year. Say a great big hello to stronger Emission tests.

The liberals want a green Ontario.

And we will pay for it...expect more wind turbines to Blight Ontario rural landscape, the College of Tades is now here to stay, E-testing is here to stay, a provincial pension plan?tax is now set in stone..and the list is still being composed...The Republic of Toronto has spoken..Fasten your seat belts working class Ontario, you can expect to make the payments on this decision by the elites' from the republic of Toronto..Too bad about rural Ontario or their wishes..We just got mowed down by HOG-TOWN..and the Public sector upper middle class..and their unions..and the OPP and their Union..I have no use for unions or their interference in our local politics ..That should be illegal..

The Unions were good when they started but over the years they got greedy and priced themselves out of a job.
Heavy industry in Canada has taken a big hit due to unions and their ridiculous pension plans which are taking a heavy toll on the bottom line of business and Gov,t . budgets. The politicians pensions are absolutely the most obscene part of the budget.
