They were recently hacked and asked everyone to change their password. I did and able to log on no problems.

I knew about them being hacked, and tried to change my password also, but you need to log in to do that. I can't even contact them because you need to be logged on for that too.PITA

I haven't reset my e bay password just yet but after reading this thread I went to "my ebay" via the shortcut on my desktop , entered my old p-w and got an instant pop up screen telling me to reset the p-w with a link to click which when clicked took me to another screen to request the reset p-w email .. which binged just as I came back to post this

so now I'll go try doin that

it dosen't hurt to change passwords every once in a while - just because

and if you use a credit card to shop on line it's a good idea to call the credit card co every year and a bit to get a new card with a new number on it

then anyone with the old card info is beat right off the hop

just changed my p-w

it rejected the new p-w the first time as I tryed to change it but when I re entered the same new p-w it accepted it
