Once again, we Ontarians prove to the world that we are the stupidest people on the face of the earth

To all the people who post on this site about the people of Toronto deciding this election, please understand that not all of us who live in Toronto voted for this corrupt Government. Some of us support other political parties and you do us a great disservice by lumping us in with the people who don't vote the way we would like.
This election and its results have sickened me more than any other election and I only hope that somehow we will all survive this devastating turn of events.
I forgot to add to this post;
In my area of East Toronto, the only election signs that could be seen were Liberal signs with the odd PC and NDP signs. The other 2 parties didn't try to inform residents as to who was running and I had to search the internet to see who was running in my area for the PC's. I really felt that our 2 votes were wasted by the PC's lack of interest.
Understood what you are saying Bruce...........Just cant understand the thinking of the people of TO in general. Maybe, Toronto should be a province on their own...they seem to live in a different mindset
I was super pissed off when I heard the results last night...After a restless night, I have decided to take a more positive approach....At least I am glad that I wont have to pay off the mess that has been created by these people in the past and the next 4 years. Being semi retired, I dont pay much for taxes...cant get blood from a stone....Pity my kids and grandkids though....Maybe the grandkids will have enough sense to get the hell out of here when the time comes
if i was a union member and that union supported a particular party and told me how to vote, i'd be enraged.........do the union "aristocrats" consider their members to be sheep ?

I agree that Hudak hurt his chances with his threat to eliminate 100,000 public sector jobs, but what most people don't realize is that Wynne will do the same thing. All the public sector unions have held off negotiating their contracts because of the election, but the government had already threatened to make massive cuts to their pay, benefits, job security, numbers, etc. The end result might end up the same as Hudak’s but she just kept quiet about it. Ain’t politics wonderful??

The largest population in Ontario are public sector workers, so they obviously would not vote in Hudak. My area lost Holliday.
Except for Rob Ford and Bruce Rossiter.....It appears everyone else has decided if your not part of Toronto your just a pain in the A$$ so get out of the way..I am shocked and disappointed but not completely surprized...I agree Tim Hudak was a very weak leader..when we needed a shark ..But I kept hoping the people of Ontario would administer some admonishment for all the scandals ,lies, cover-ups, waste and mostly lack of remorse with a plan to forge ahead and continue with the same reckless abandonment..There is something wrong with our system of voting in Ontario that we are constantly held to ransom by the GTA .. We can see by the numbers that more people voted against her than for her ..but, with a three party system it's tough sleding and there are just more public sector workers with huge powerful unions than there are private sector employees with any ability to organize any sort of adds ..
Anyway.. It is what it is, I have no hard feelings to anybody ..We live in a democracy ,they all had the same opportunity to sing their song and however lob-sided the vote , we need to live with it and fight another day..First, we really need a good strong opposition leader that has the support and confidence of Ontario tax payers..MAYBE NEXT TIME..but for to-day, Toronto has decided our fate..and no amount of bitterness is going to change that, nor is a week of hind-site quarter backing..I hate the decision ,I think it was a bad choice to reward people who steal from you and then lie about it when confronted and try to cover it up especially people who have their hands on our money.. I believe the middle class working private sector will suffer most from this decision ..I believe 95% of Rural Ontario went conservative but we are stuck with the decision of the elitist's of the GTA who continue tor rule Ontario as the centre of the universe..in Ontario..Time to cover your ass and watch your money I believe we next will see a downgrade to our credit rating which will drive the cost of our borrowing to increase the interest on the debt so watch for that to increase substantially in the near future, more company's that are energy dependant will be leaving and other company's will look to other provinces or worse to the US..I think it sucks..I will get over it in a day or two ..I just need some sulking time to lick my wounded pride of Ontario.. and get used to this being a have not province, heavily indebt and run by a corrupt government that was rewarded for it's conduct by those it serves..Whoda thunk..!!! I worry for my kids and Grandkids future in this province...

No she wont....It will be the same story as always, except now they will be given more.....more upper management, more burocracy .......there is no opposition to it
And.....what about the OPP investigation into wrong doings with the gas plants.....How fast is that going to disappear?....I give it a month

Two things, One you sir, are a gentleman. lots of "EFFFF YOOOUS" on my twitter feeds etc.
Two. I was pretty surprised at the geographical distribution. I mean, I know GTA holds all the cards but to actually see it says lots.
I thought the PCs would have been elected by a land slide, and that's why I voted NDP to prevent a PC majority. Damn !! I think I messed up and should have voted PC. Never in a million years would I have thought that the Liberals would get a majority. Are people blind? Are they all f-king stupid?Do any of these people that vote Liberal even speak English? In a few years, Canadians will not be able to live in the place we were born !! The system is screwed !!

BTW, I just checked how many voted in relation to how many live in Ontario.
4.2 million voted, but the population of Ontario is 13.6 million. Granted some of the 13.6 are not eligible to vote, but it still paints a sad state of affairs as to the mentality of Ontario residents. They're a bunch of idiots, and I'm starting to see why the rest of Canada hates Ontarians.

Who Can Vote? Anyone who is: 18 or older on polling day, and A Canadian citizen, and A resident of the electoral district. √√√ Registering to Vote Before eligible electors can vote, they must register by having their name and address added to the Voters List. The process is easy. You simply show identification to prove who you are and where you reside. Once registered, you can vote.

Won't be the first time we've been down this road. Years ago at the Federal level Joe Who told it straight up that the interest rates would have to hit 13%, and everybody is going to share in the pain. Trudeau just let it all go by and didn't say a thing. He was elected by the dumbass uninformed and the interest rate went to 23%. People lost homes, guys couldn't handle it...blew their brains out, it was grand ol' time. Yeah the Liberal good ol' days are here again for Ontario. I'm I a bit jaded??? Damn right I am.

I heard last night on the Election coverage 6 million of that 13.6 million live in the GTA so that doesn,t give the rest of Ontario much of a chance. While at the coffee shop this morning the talk was of the most positive thing to come out of the election was the resignation of Tim Hudak. Not a very popular fellow in Niagara.

All the money that whinnie promised Toronto and GTA paid big dividends. Just wait till we find out where she,s going to get all that money.
Time to stand back and look at the facts, the GTA pretty much control the outcome of a provincial election,in another 4 years what remains of Ontario should be in total shambles. Since the citizens of Ontario have such short memories and are willing to overlook scandels and forgive anything, the men of the hour will step forward. I can hear the campaign line now "At least we never stole from the taxpayers"
Its time to break up the Toronto ridings so the rest of Ontario stands a chance in an election.
Big time ..It's not a fair vote at all that the whole province is completly controlled by one city and it's burbs..The rest od the province went PC and in fact if one looks at numbers and the total vote ..more voters voted against her than for her..more tax-payers voted against her !!!!! yet we are bound by the G T A electorate and the public sector unions and now even the OPP...I don't know if there any way to change that ..but I will be working hard to find out if and how it can be done if possible ..I will on my MP case for some answers on how that process would or could work..
You can blame any group you want but if you look at the red area's they have been that way since ernie the weasle eves forced amalgamation on us in 99. When the people themselves voted 98% against it in a referendum and our tory MPP Flat out quit because of it. Tony Skarica. 14 years latter but will never be forgotten. No I didn't vote for the Horse!!!
My riding went Liberal, but my town is filled with teachers, nurses, doctors and cops
Time to sell my place while it's still worth something, the financial meltdown that's sure to come with more provincial debt is going to be nasty.
Just wait until the bitch raises our gas tax to pay for TO roads as if we don't pay enough already. This is something I sure don't understand. Here we are an oil exporting country and someone sneezes in an arab country so our gas prices skyrocket. This latest "Scare" that's got us paying over $1.40 a litre hasn't affected fuel prices in Michigan at all.
