Hemmings anyone?

My Dad always refers to Hemmings as the holy bible for car guys but lately I just can't get into it. Not sure if its the internet and the ease of information or what it is. I'd reach for an Old Auto's or a Rodders Journal first.

Anyone else walk past Hemmings more than they use to or are you still a supporter?

Buy it a couple of times a year. Used to have a great literature for sale/wanted section that I could find some good racing books. Great to read to just keep up with pricing of vehicles. They do have some good articles on lots of interesting subjects.

I think the one reason I don't buy it more often is simply the cost.

It is a good source for hard to find parts and for people that repair old car clcks, repair trim, etc.
But I don't need any of that anymore either.

I used to be a subscriber years ago . In the 70s. It was a good source for hard to find parts and the prices were reasonable. just like everything else they kept raising the price, increasing the number of sponsers and "improving " the content. I,m afraid they "improved" me off of their subscription list. I buy about 1 copy every couple of years.

Man. So who is buying and supporting them still?! Must be the antiquers keeping them going.
