I have been into cars and motorcycles since i was old enough to earn my own money. Well, it started earlier. Have been to dragraces since i was a little kid, and always reading hotrod magz when the other kids had Donald Duck.
For the moment I own a Harley that i built myself, a Fiat 600 dragrace project in progress, a few Ford Populars, and i recently bought a Front engine dragster. The last one is actually the reason i have signed up here, as it was owned by a Canadian guy, and now im trying to find out who it was. I was hopeing someone in here can help.
Welcome from Walkerton. I am sure someone here will be able to help with info on your dragster. Post some pictures and tell us what, why, when and how you came by it.
Enjoy the site.
Welcome to the site from another norwegian!! Although I have to go back a generation to claim that status We are planning to visit around the middle of may I understand it's your independence day around that time. Yes send pictures there is lots of guys here from all over canada that could help you!
Wow guys, what a welcome :) Thanks a lot everyone. Been to the races today at the local track, last one of the year actually. Always great to be there.
I will start a project/garage thread over the weekend.
Welcome Marius to Ontario Rodders. I see the name "Snake Bit" on the side. Does the chassis have any stamped numbers anywhere or markings? These may help I D your Dragster. Do you know what area it came from?

Nice looking ride there Marius! Is that picture taken at our very own Sparta track? With the weeds growing in all the cracks it looks just like ST Thomas Dragway!!!

Sorry for the delay I work in the oil patch so my connection is spotty at best,I'm on my way home for some r&r and I will get you that info. My last name is spelt Haugen I hear there are a few in the phone book around there! I really like your car,I would go to lots of races in the Seattle area as a kid and have never got over how the driver hangs his privates over the diff and launch at some rudiculis rpm, not something I could do!
Hey Marius have you found any info on your car? Looks like a few posts may have it for you. My grandpa came from a small farming community called Guldbransdalen, our friends from Oslo went out for a drive and took a video of the area,it showed an big area of fields so I guess it never took off as far as population goes. He then moved the family to Northfron norway before loading the clan on a boat and settling in the US.

No, nothing yet..
Where in Guldbrandsdalen? And whats the family last name Randy?
I have relatives there, as my mother was born and raised there. Its an old family, and i think my uncle (wich btw was one of the first ever to import musclecars to the community) has tracked it down to the 1700`s. A few moved to USA in late 1800`s or early 1900 if i remember correct.
