Hi Every one. I been meaning to join this forum for years and finally getting around to it. Very Cool forum I must say and very informative. My name is "Kelly" and I am avid car nut for many years. I own a very rare 1970 Pontiac Strato Chief that has been with me for over 25 years. I restored it several years ago and been touring the "Ottawa Valley" car club and show scene ever since. For the past five years I have been an acting volunteer as "MC/DJ" for the famous HWY43 Car club in Kemptville. We have over 300 members from all over and growing every year. We support a few charities and do a few big shows every year as well regular cruise night events. You can check out our club website at www.hwy43carclub.com

Very simply I like everything that goes fast, cars, trucks, planes, snowmobiles, boats etc., but my favorite is cars and I have been a shade tree mechanic since my teen years when I went through a couple of Camaro's and a Fire Bird.

I forgot to mention, Chevy motor 350 V8, restored from short block up, mostly Edelbrock parts, mild build, 3 speed auto trans, shift kit, posi rear with 3.42 gears, runs about 325HP, headers with 2.5 inch exhaust, cross over pipe and 50's series flowmasters, nice highway driver, has some grunt to it but not too wild...Yet LOL. Thanks to some good friends that helped me with engine rebuild, trans restore and few local shops for paint body, interior work, rear gears and custom made exhaust. Very detailed and try to keep it clean as possible, but do Drive it as much as I can.

Here is my old girl and I hope the image files are not too big...

Look forward to talking to you all from time to time in the future...

Cheers

Kelco

2+2..Awesome, always wanted one, maybe some day? Good luck with your project. Best to my knowledge and appraiser, the "Strato-Chief" is One (1) of 34 alive and well in Canada...that was 9 years ago, there may be more now? but have not seen them yet....
