I have lived here 27 yrs and those bastards change my address 5 times and now send back anything that does not have the latest address they assigned.
I call Toronto and they said too bad......

How did you finally get it?
Did you have to sign for it or was it reg. mail? I think they call reg. mail 3rd class mail, that is the bottom of the pile as far as priority goes. It's even below junk mail.
I see it was sent on the 16th of september.
Can you answer toomuchjunk, it doesn't appear to have been reissued so how did you get it? My mail is delivered every day by a guy driving a van because I am rural. Every thing comes on time and if it doesn't fit in the box, he brings it to the door. I don't see how the April issue has any thing to do with CP. It appears SFI was lax in contacting you if it took until September for them to mail. Just hate laying the blame at the wrong feet.
Henry, why would they change your address 5 times, never heard of such a thing unless the changed the name of your town or you went from home delivery to box delivery. The person sorting the mail may not be the person delivering it and maybe he never heard of you.
Poncho62, When I was a youngster, I used to go to CTC and al they carried was auto parts, well that is a small part of their business today. People go where the money is. The post office must deliver first class mail the day it arrives at the local post office and I belive their is also a time frame on 'junk mail' most of which is date sensitive but not the priority of first class. I don't and never have worked for the post office or any other branch of the government but I believe with the millions of pieces handled every day that some thing once in a while might fall through the cracks.
If the Canada Post is so bad, why don't we just give it to FedEx, oh yeah, then we would be bitchin about the rates.

That's probably where the problem is Warren, with SFI. Had no issues with getting the prior Tech card.

I'm in the same boat Henry is in. I've had 3 different addresses in the same house for 25 yrs. When I first bought, we had an RR1 address, and as the community grew, they changed to a street address, and then a few years later, changed the postal code.
We now have 3 different postal codes on a street with 6 houses, and 1,500 feet long.
Interesting, as i have had a few mishaps with Canada Post. Strange though the past two years that service has speeded up to where i get mail now from 300 miles away in two days at times. Before that same distance would take sometimes up to 12 days.
(Have had parcels from California in three days!!)
1st Lot & concession
2nd Lot # and street
3rd box #
4th different box #( snow plow nailed green boxes so the got new ones that were already number so easier for the whole community to change our box # than buy new number decals)
5th civic address because "we are going to home delivery"
6th will be "short rope tall tree cemetery"
Now I know why people go postal

Lot and concession ? A cop wanted that and I told him I didn't have one as I lived on a Gore like the ownership said. Then I got an inflated ticket and told to get it fixed so they could find me. I told him to go back to his office and look on the map to which he replied "you'll be hearing from me" 14 years later and I'm still waiting. Rural addresses are fun.
