Forgot to mention Malcolm Durhams Chevelle in the rosin , with no helmet on ?
One fast car, everywere he ran he was a threat to the competition. Good people!
Notice in the pic of Marv Ripes, looks like a sign painter is lettering the tower, and has stopped to watch this run. Lol
Love those paint jobs from that era like Ed Hamburgers Duster!
So many fantastic shots ,something to be said about the simple days of racing.
The last pic sums it up for me .....Jenkins was ahead of his time, truly a inovator and engineer. Hope hes doing 7k power shifts in heaven...

Thanks again for the GREAT pics!! Last pic,, check out what looks like the Chevy window van ambulance behind the fence. Lol Can't remember the name of the guy with the Chevelle wagon. Anyone?
(The female is quite nice also, must have been a very hot humid day!! Lol)
Thanks for the neat photos - memories indeed. I remember Tons of Fun at Cayuga, always wondered how they kept a windshield in that thing with the twisted launches. Keep'em coming and I'll see if I have anything worthwhile to post.
