Hello from Toronto

Hi Guys, just recently noticed your site and thought it might be fun to chat with some of you about cars.

I was born and raised here in Toronto but spent many years in California where I fell in love with hot rods and the whole car scene.

For over 15 years I have built and collected hot rods, my favourites being 32 Fords.

Am back in beautiful Ontario once again and am looking forward to some good conversation and learning about the rod runs and events here.

Welcome aboard!

With the car season coming to a close over a month ago there won't be much in the line of show coverage here until Detroit in March, but you can check out the previous years event coverage to give you a better idea for planning the shows you would like to attend in 2015. In particular, watch for anything involving the ELTA car club to see some outstanding rare vintage rods and race cars that are seldom seen anywhere else.

You are going to have a blast here!

I know the season is done but am looking to next year to hopefully participate. Checked out ELTA. Looks like a cool group of guys into traditional old timey rods.
All the cars I have done are early style, late 50's early 60's. No AC or IFS here.
Thanks for the advice.

In answer to hotroddonnie I currently have several 32 Fords and a 39 Ford convertible coupe.

39 Ford convertible, are you hotrodding it or keeping original? Cool either way!

Car was finished a few years ago. We kept the body and interior totally stock but modernized the drive train and motor. 383 chevy, 700R disc drum combo. Looks like a stocker but drives like a new car.
