Does any one know Tom Patterson From Newtonville. Tom passed away Sat. morning a great guy and a fantastic restorer and builder of cars for many years for Canadian and US customers. Tom stopped doing large jobs a few years ago to build his own 54 Ford cab over stretching it into a four door pickup on a Ford 3/4 diesel chassis with a tilt front end. Tom altered almost every body panel from running boards to roof to make the lines all flow together. I was in his shop two weeks ago we were on the second floor showing me all the body parts he had in colour ready to bolt on. He was saying that he bought a rebuilt diesel engine from Steve's Diesel and wanted to start the chassis later this winter. Sorry to see he never got to finish his own project. A great guy will sadly be missed.
