The Thunder Bird Seat brackets came off and the truck ones went on seamlessly. Had them in Slim's old truck today and they look, fit, feel, and function great. They will replace the really bad looking ones in my truck. Pictures or its fake so they say...
Just want to put it out there that Slim is a great guy.
First he gave me an alternator, four snow tires, a coil and leaf spring mount for my ranger project for free,
and now I bought the rest of the truck and he gave me a basically brand new motor and a transmission for nothing.
Hes a great guy to talk to, and helped us out a lot while loading the parts today. He also let us borrow his dolley to take the truck home as well.
He also threw in some seats from a t bird to try in my truck too.
Just want to say thanks, and put it out there for those who dont know him. Thanks a lot Slim.
Ben

the above is a great example of a reason i enjoy being on a more localized form. i believe that if guys all chip in with helping and stuff it will eventually come to be your turn someday if it is needed.
