We did have a pretty good thread going a while back about Peter Magels- Maggot Studebaker junior stocker but it " Petered" out. It was a good one and there was quite a bit of information revealed.
I wasn't that sure when Carr , Petes brother said he was banned from Niagara but I have searched the Niagara Dragstrip site and a few others and found nothing about Peter even though he was a class winner and almost unbeatable there, in fact for the 2 or 3 years I raced there I don't believe he was ever beat. I guess the ban was true.
You got that right. Loved the Maggot. Your car is a looker to and looks like a runner to. I myself am partial to 51 Chevvys and couldn't help admiring that 51 in the far lane.
well i don t know much about drag racing except what i did on the streets in my young 20 s well it wan t safe but lot of funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ..... i tried once legally on a track
when to semi final in street class ......... bracket racing with a Pontiac all wheel drive lolllllllllllllllllll was a thrill to beat bigger cars lollllllllllll
last race i went against a corvette and i hit the red light s............

hopefully the new house and shop won't take up too much of my time this season, i'd like to run a few events with the O.N.D.R. this year and the arm drop as well. if i can get the new place ready to move in and the lake house sold - i'm gonna have some fun !!!

Surprising Chase kept the number. Thought Hendrick might have shelved the number for awhile. How much pressure will there be on Chase on Chase to drive the #24 ?
big shoes to fill but rick hendrick knows winning combinations. i just hope there isn't the usual hype that makes it difficult for a young driver to live up to. the kid is not short on talent, that's for sure.
