Yup. Retooling for a New model. In a matter of a few months, we will tear out the existing process and install all new equipment. When we're done a new model will come rolling off the assembly line. Last time I did one of these major retools we tore out the Chrysler 5th ave line and installed all new machinery, conveyors, and robots to make the minivan. That was back in the 80's This time around, it will take 400 men, 7 days a week, 2 shifts, around the clock to complete the task in approx 3 months. It's a pretty amazing thing to be apart of. That's if I can find a place to stay.

There is an ad on kijiji from a guy who says he has a few rooms to rent for guys coming to town to work the Chrysler shut down. Go to kijiji Windsor, then to real estate and open up short term rentals. i know someone with several rental units but he must be away, I am unable to reach him.

I spoke with my friend who owns several rental properties, he says all are full. If you find a place through kijiji and want info on what the area is like etc I would be happy to help you out.
