Thanks for that ....I became a teenager in 1959 and the years leading up to that " historic event " I wouldn't trade for anything . Lifelong friendships were made , and we ALWAYS had something to do . Parents never had to be involved in that , it was baseball , road hockey , football , marbles , kites , bike riding , scouts , camping , fishing . It was unlimited . I was into cars when I was about three as my dad got me to memorize the various brands on the road . ( I remember thinking " Fargo " was a funny name ) . It seems these day , the kids in my area are mostly indoors , playing video games . Too bad .
