Last week I ordered some parts for a trany from AMERICAN POWERTRAIN WAREHOUSE

I had some questions about the shipment and got no reply

I called and no answer

I checked my order from their website and it showed the item shipped with a usps number so I checked the usps site and it shoed the shipment still at the sellers place.

Now the sellers website is no longer available.

now I have filled a claim with paypal and the card people.

Wow, sounds like they took your order just as the sheriff was changing the locks.

From what I've heard, you shouldn't have any problem reversing the charge through Paypal.

Hope it all works out for you.

I ordered a rad from gearhead world on eBay 4 week's ago said that it shipped when I checked the tracking it said it was still at the seller I emailed them to find out what was happening and they waited two weeks to reply to tell me they dident have the rad in stock and that there waiting for another shipment and that they should have it that day and will send it right away that was a week ago and still nothing watch out for these guys as well

You might want to Google that company.  You have 45 days (from ordering) to cancel your order.  Once 45 days has passed, you won't be able to take a dispute to eBay or PayPal .... THAT is why this company is stringing you along.

 

I suggest you take some time to Google this company and read up on how they treat customers, rip people off etc.  

 

Handle this however you want, but I'd be cancelling that order RIGHT NOW.  If the price is too good to pass up, have them contact you once the rad actually is in stock (yeah, like you can trust them), then reorder it.  If you don't get a legit tracking number IMMEDIATELY, then cancel once again.

 

I guess the reality is that it IS your money, spend it as you see fit ...... best of luck.   

 

 

I gotta be honest ..... with all the bad 'press' these guys have on hotrod chat rooms, I'll never order ANYTHING from them.
