today I took off the bumpers of my 924 and sunk them in so there is just about "3cm sticking out instead of around "20cm being out there before looking huge and clunky, just cut the rods you stick it in to the body down and grinded them down to fit In double the length as before . I'm still using the same support metal just there shorter! I'm just not sure of what I think of how it looks what do you all think , or is there a better way to do this ?
I don't think an inspector would ever notice unless he had a stock one to compare it to. That being said every Mod comes with a price and you just removed your rear crumple zone.... so back into anything or someone taps your rear end and what would of been minor damage turns it into a right off. I like it but its you who needs to make the decision knowing all the facts. nothing is free.
I like it , guys have been doing this type of custom touch forever. Think nurf bars flipping bumpers , moulding bumpers and grills. Nice to see guys adding custom touches to latermodel rides. Maybe I should be wrighting it as Kustom since Barris passed last week . Ed
