Been involved with cars since I can remember. My uncles and their buddies were always taking me for spins in their new Chevelles, ElCam's, Camaros (67 camaro original 302 car was my fav, they didn't call them Z28 then), all their buddies with BB Chevelles taking me home from baby-sitting etc.

Thanks guys. Parklane, you could very well be right I'm just going from memory on the '67 Camaro. I'll see my Uncle at xmas that bought it new.
I remember him saying the car had no Badges and was coined Z28 because of the 302 and other kewl stuff. Anyway, I thought it only had 302 on the cowl, not the fenders. Both Uncles worked for the Chev-Olds dealership back then. My '69 Z had Z28 Badges but no indication of 302 inside (guess that was a given). I dunno, I'll check it out.

My Dad was one of those Super 8 movie camera taking guys back then. If it moved, it's on film.If the dog wagged it tail, he got that.
Years later he got some fancy rig to transfer those 'reels' to VCR tape. I know there's a ton of 'film' from late '60's GrandBend. Some of you guys might even be in them ?
I'll talk to mom in the morning about that. She don't throw nuttin out !

Just when I thought I knew it all about them, I found I kinda do. Talked to Muff. Some of you may know him. I'll post about that 67 (Z28) issue thing later, and my info is good, very very good.
Have a couple Customers showing up in minutes, so I best get my butt out to the garage.
