I've had a TV antenna for the last 20 years and have loved not having to pay cable bills. That being said, just recently (roughly around the start of the new year) I've been unable to get any of the "29" channels (29-1,29-2. and 29-3). Based on other threads on this site, I am aware that several other members have TV antenna's too so my question is, are you still able to receive Fox 29? I've been unable to find any mention of Fox 29 changing their over-the-air broadcasting and have also not found anyone else wondering what happened the the "29's".
Is it just me (and my antenna) or is this something others are experiencing as well?
Check out a site called 'TV Fool'. Just Google it, it will come right up. (I have no idea who or why such a dork name was used, but the info is good) You can get the current tv stations available to you at your location, and you can print out a map so you know where to point your antenna. Bunch of stuff on there for us "Antenna Hold Outs".

I do not think we are hold outs as bell lost over 100,000 subscribers in 2014 to antennas I read in the news. People are starting to realise how good antennas are compared to the old analogue.

That's good to know, thanks for the info.
Funny thing though, we (almost) always got Fox29 and haven't been able to get it since sometime around the new year. I figure it's either our TV, our antenna, or there is something new in my area that is blocking the signal.
We are presently running a TV antenna directly into the back of an LED TV with an internal digital box. Luckily, I still have an old tube TV, a second identical antenna, and a digital converter box it will be interesting to see if I can get a signal the "old school" way.
I've always been happy with the relatively small number of channels available, but Fox is a channel I don't want to lose.
Thanks for the help/input
(regarding my comment of "something new in the area blocking", when I Googled "Fox29 antenna lost" people mentioned that in either 2011 or 2013 the signal from CHCH in Hamilton caused people to lose Fox29, so it could very well be something that I have no control over, unlike changing to a new antenna or buying a different TV).
