I know it took a lot of bashing to make a 440 header ALMOST fit a 383

and oddly every big block dodge header listing I've seen says fits 383-440

to bad that without the taller wider block the headers run into the sides of the 383 block - unless you beat the snot outta them - so much so that I'd garante you would lose power , lots

I would have almost squeezed the tubes shut just to get the header flange parrallel to the head but I realized it was gonna be a lost cause
