Do you remember not to many years back the price of oil went sky high to about $170 a barrel? Back then every manufacturer of anything, used this price of oil increase to justify jacking up what ever they sold from tires to paint to delivery services. Now the price of oil is and has been rock bottom for about a year or more, about $40 a barrel. I want to know why nothing that I can think of has dropped in price accordingly?

I went to get a some rust paint today and they wanted $8.00 plus tax for a 1/2 pint can, about 4 oz.

sadly everyone who works for or owns said manufacturer still has to also pay those inflated prices for everything like you and I so there's no way the prices of everything is ever going to come back down

I didn't notice so much gas being the reason , more what I call milenial greed
meaning about 2000 , the prices of everything began to skyrocket for no real reason at all

Then again the price of paint did not go down when they went water base with no oil product in it.
They also did not lower the price of paint when they went metric claiming they had to make new metric cans and that was how many years ago.
They also are now starting to sell in the US gallons that are smaller and the price is still not go down.
They are also making paint in CHINA for the $0.35 an hour labour and the price has not gone down.
So why do you think the DuPont family is so wealthy? Not because they lowered their price.
They are also now selling pre mixed products like antifreeze at the same price as concentrate so you are paying $9.00 for half a gallon of water. So you had better stock up as TSC did not have any concentrate the last time I was there.
Please don't get me started!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tractor Supply never has anything in stock. Without a doubt one of the worst managed companies I have ever tried to use. Maybe not all the same but the one in Lindsay is just a store full or not in stock tags. Never seen anything like it.

They also repeat the same sales over and over again like Trimclad Paint or Milwaukee saws all. If you compare prices it is not much of a sale.
