I lived on the mid east coast most of my life...mild to moderate winters...moved to Kansas last year...winter was fairly mild! Moved with my fiance back to her home state...Illinois...northern Illinois to be precise...I'm not much of a winter guy...I work outside a lot with my job as a contractor...I'm not sure what to expect here. Heard harsh. And heard moderate...guess I'll have to wait and see! I'm a believer in the saying.."when life hands you lemons, make lemonade"!..so with that being said I'm gonna put a plow on my truck...it'll probably never snow !... Lol
CR is one of our US members....Weather in Illinois should be quite similar to Ontario......in the Great Lakes area with lake effect snow and such, I would think.
Hey CR, Where have you been? Haven't heard from you for awhile. I take it your south of Chicago somewhere. Your getting close to the Great Lakes and they can upset the weather patterns a lot. So if you've been told moderate and then the next person says harsh...then they are most likely both correct. Weather can be a bit of a grab bag of sorts around this part of the world. Kind of 'lets wait and see what happens next' sort of deal. Take care...don't be a stranger.
Hey sniper...been laying low off rrr...turned away from what I enjoy...and yes the winters can be brutal from what I've heard...I actually live in northern Illinois!...(the things we do for women)..we'll see what it has in store for these cold bones!!! Delaware as in the state..next to Pennsylvania and south of New York...home of the attitudes!!.. Lol
