I figured I would post some information about me before I beg you guys for knowledge. My name is Jamie, and I am Marten's son (he is building a 1953 Ford F-100). My uncle is Lightspeed_Mike, so both of those people have been driving forces in me growing up around cars and eventually me buying my very own hotrod. I have a daily driver as well, so my hotrod will be my fun car/summer car.
A little about me: I an a building science consulting engineer, so pretty much what I do is I design building components to make a building perform better. So if you need a new roof, or insulation help I'm pretty good at dealing with all that. I also do freelance design work, so I can design that dream kitchen for you as well!
Now for the car! I bought a 1987 Chevy Camaro Z/28. It is the LB9 305 with an automatic transmission, which is rated at 190hp and 295tq, so it should have a little more power then my Chevy Cobalt I drive on the daily. It also has the T-tops, and only a 180,000km so I can't complain too much about that. It has a little bit of rust, but not much considering it's 30 years old. It needs a little bit of work, but right now it runs, drives and stops so I can't be happier. I will post up the car in the project section for more information, but until then here are some photos!
