The Continuing Gasoline Price Issue

Nothing new about our gas prices , but there was a new wrinkle as reported by a " letters tot the editor " in the Windsor Star recently . Apparently stations are changing their prices , big time , 2 or more times each day ...if it happens here I'm sure it is elsewhere .

Since I'm retired and don't get out regularly I haven't noticed this but in talking with various friends who are still working , they have confirmed this . For example , 9 am , 90.9 cents / litre ,.....5 pm 102.9 cents / litre  , then a reversal the next day ! The letter writer to the paper cited 3 changes in one day and not by just a penny or two .

The price fixers seem to have found another way to confuse an already confusing issue ......what a licence to print money .

I drive my daughter back to University in London every Sunday night-Cambridge is 100km away-gas was $1.07.9 in Cambridge last night and 91.9 in London-thats over 70 cents a gallon difference-it sure adds up in a hurry-then you hear the prices in the U.S.-unreal!
Keep on Cruising!!!

My wife and I travelled from all 4 points of the city on Sunday. Not only was some stations 90cents, right across the street was over $1????? Then again same road was $1.07.....2 blocks later 92cents. We have to have past min 10 gas stations. And 10 different prices and none close. Think Costco was cheapest at 87.7 and highest we seen was $1.07.

Our local Petro station does the same thing. Low in morning and up in afternoon and repeat following day. Cobourg
