it wasn't too far off the mark on the price i don't think, maybe 70 to 80g's high, maybe, lol. i have always thought if i came across a big old wagon in reasonable shape i would have to think about it. i can remember mom driving a 58 chev wagon in the early 60's with a 348 in it. at the time i didn't know what a 348 was but it was the first time seeing those odd shaped valve covers in my mind back then.
that griswald movie series is still a laugh today.
I know one of youse guyz likes those buick roadmaster wagons from the 90's but off hand I can't remember who..
sooo I'll add in with .. there IS one of those to be found in the shopper's drug mart / dollar store parking lot on rylander (blvd?) in eastmost scarberia
been stashed in the back of the lot , actually the front near the street for a few months I know of
it's silver or somesuch with woody wonderfullness and the vista cruiser style roof
looks not bad just in passing .. I've never stopped to look closely I just pass by on the way to the bank on the other side of the parking lot
as to who owns it I haven't the foggiest
(I'm willing to grab a couple of pics and leave a note if interest is here)
there WAS a really nice minty 80's style caddy for sale just across the street but it's gone now was really nice and minty for about 3K and it was even a really nice blue on blue
I actually hadda think about that one as it was so nice .. but .. eah .. lotta gas to spend for not so much in return back

Wonder how many wagons went into demo derbies? And still do? Kinda like how many 70s-80s Camaros gave up front clips for rods
or are racing on small ovals still. Ed

good point on them going to the wreck-em derbies ed, i would imagine there was a pile of them.
