I found it on google earth without much effort
I simply looked for THAT pool ..and the two small lawns.. the only ones I've seen in Malta

property values there are "reasonable" , you know IF you start , here,..a penthouse apartment with a roof top pool can be had for around 350-450 000 euros - it would be about the size of an average apartment unit here .. maybe a little "smaller" in the secondary rooms though

as a foreigner you need a permission to buy and signing up for public health care will cost
120-150 000 bucks at sign up
- or you can do your own private coverage ..but MUST provide proof of coverage

if importing a car you have to have owned it for more than two years or you pay a 40% of value tax..

firearms must be registered..but you can own pretty much ANYTHING you want...

I've seen the list of numbers of types of weapons registered.. everything from rocket and grenade launchers to machine guns / sub machine guns .. artillery guns (light) .. most anything
I guess with 400 000 odd people "your THE army"...

a 90 foot boat slip is about 150 000 and garages .. you'll prob need a couple are 10 000-18 000 with property titles..depending how many cars fit

ah ..yeah .. small but notable correction

the 120-150 000 euros not only gets you public healthcare .. it also BUYS citizenship..EU citizenship .. so you don't need visa's to travel about Europe

I've seen closed of sections under the entry ramps of underground lots listed as garages .. but they fit 6-10 cars

but the currency conversion is a bit stiff at + 40-45 bucks on every hundred canadian..

oh , most importantly..the coldest recorded temp is 37*F..

that place has 6 bed rooms , a stable and a garage - 1 car and a large castle like gate from the street into that courtyard  .. so there's cool parking for a couple of hot rods too..though anything more than a 200 hp model A would be a waste.. and impractical

.."old man with plan"....

and it is well worth the effort to have it done in my books.  those are good pic's of your place and they will look even better 5-10yrs from now, just for the memories hanging on a wall. sort of thing.

nice place and location, i can see why the ice cream is going over good for them. thats a good thing.  lol   it surprises me with the volumes the guy down the road does and you got to drive into the country to get there. the kids have a lot of walk in traffic near by at your place and i don't see that being a bad thing, lots of parking ta boot.    nice spot and i like that area around there.  i remember that area from 50yrs ago driving truck.

saving a nice pic is easy .. if you can find where your computer saves them to .. I can't ever find the pics I try to save .. it used to work but not in recient years .. but that's an issue with my PC

once you have a nice pic you want printed you need to find someone with a large enough printer to produce a nice wall hanging sized print ..

a piece of 8x11 paper just isn't going to do it "right"

in 1947 , after the war they found a use for all those now surplus aerial resonance cameras ..

gotta keep track of those permitted garden sheds & outhouses I suppose..

they started taking photos of Toronto area at least .. if you can figure out how to fill in the search box for your own areas you might find something similar

makes for hours of fun watching your local history develop

goes up to aboout 1993

www.toronto.ca/city-government/accountability-operations-customer-service/access-city-information-or-records/city-of-toronto-archives/whats-online/maps/aerial-photographs/aerial-photographs-1947/

link below shows a pic from the above link..circa 1947 .. steels ave e in Scarborough at sewells rd and reesor rd road

it shows standard auto wrecker's property before standard was there .. and a lot of nice trees planted along the roadside ..there

also shown is the old north south bridge at steels and reesor .. instead of the current east west bridge that's there today

also not there yet is the rail way line that passes standard

and, already gone is the rail line that crosed the unused railway trestle , of the two that cross sewells rd towards the bottom of the pic

so knowing the picture is from '47 we know the trestle hasn't been used in at least 75 years ..I've always figured it was used much more reciently that that eventhough at 56 I ain't never seen tracks going over it

i just gotta ask, lol.   why in the world would you be sail boating in a puff ball boat when with that much lotto money you could be cruising around your island on some nice cruiser with big twin 572's or diesels for that matter.  it's a lot of money, lol.

just curious, have you ever done much sail boating?   it is similar to watching the paint dry.
