.......and I smoked a fattie before starting, this is the result. " Jim" is my cousin, he flies over now and then and snaps a pic so I wanted to say Hi to him. " Bob" is a neighbor, he flies in the Lanc and the B29 so whenever they're out they make a point of flying over here too, so I had to say hi to him too. May be an image of text

Good Job... Reminds me of this legend that lives in the flight path of the Milwaukee airport...

Thanks Fellas. I was thinking about a political message at first, but decided to go with something positive.

Good for you, keep the trucking politics out of it. lol... I had a copter land here beside the house to take myself and the wife to Niagara to get married and i can relate to seeing something like you did with your yard mowing, it does show from up there.
Randy, the copter guys name was Rudy who owned the joint at the time, nice man. He was Swiss, not German. He also raced high powered go-carts so we had common ground, raced. lol

Well I figured there was no sense bringing any heat down on us for no good reason. Politicians have long memories and can be very vindictive. Shag, you're right, his name is Ruedi Hafen. I believe he sold in 2011 but remains a pilot and President of the Co, but I could be wrong. I'll bet you and Sue had a very memorable ride. My cousin Jim flies out of Burnaby ( Welland) and is always after us to go up with him. If you're heading this way sometime let me know ahead, I'll see if he has an extra seat.

LOL......great photo and a good way to advertise and say hello all at the same time!

Speaking of the Lancaster, I was very fortunate to be able to go for a ride a few years ago. It was a Fathers Day gift from

my three boys and my wife. I don't think I have done anything as amazing as this! If anyone here gets the chance to go for a flight, don't pass it up, it's AWESOME!!!

Here's a photo of me and one of the pilots.Lancaster.JPG
